VYD CIC is a Brighton-based non-profit using football to empower marginalised groups, including refugees and underprivileged youth in East Brighton and beyond. Their work focuses on mental and physical health, education, nutrition and social confidence.

Gary Pleece, Founder of VYD CIC, said:

“At VYD we believe in the power of football to transform lives. Partnering with MVG allows us to extend that mission to the women’s and girls’ game, building pathways not just for elite performance but also for confidence, wellbeing and belonging. We agreed to the sponsorship so that we can help the club find true talent from disadvantaged areas in the city, with our sponsorship money helping to subsidise fees for those in financial hardship. Elite football shouldn’t be just for those that can afford it.”
