Likely to be a mix of vets, U18s, U23s & 1s coming back from injury. We will also be looking to take in some regular Saturday players to make a core for this team.
We are entering a Summer vets friendly tournament for our pre-season friendlies, we will do some training midweek too.
Social Events
We will be looking to run probably 3 or 4 social events per season including Xmas and end of season dos. We did 3 last year, so it will be good to get a 4th in. We may look at an end of season tour, we have teams to visit across Europe & the UK, I think Phippsy might head this up.
Training
Is now being replaced with cage football and will take place on Thursday nights 7-8pm on the small 3G at Falmer, this will run all year round, it will officially start from the start of August.
This means we can have between 12 to 24 players each week, playing 5-9 aside games. If we are 20 players or more, there will be two games going on and halfway through we’ll swap so the two winning sides play each other and the two losing play each other, If less than 20 then one game using the pitch long ways.
We’ll look at a core group of 24 players paying £13.50 per month, these players will have an automatic place and generally we can assume that there will be 5-10 regulars not attending each week so drop in spaces available players will be charged £4 per session.
New League Formats
Both 35s will be sticking in SSFL Vets Div 1 & Div 2 for next season.
45s will be in the top division of 2, this will be likely 5 or 6 teams home and away.
Open age will start off in Mid Sussex Div 4
New Kits & Equipment
We have 2 new Joma home kits & 1 new Stanno away kit (own black shorts & socks as usual)
New match balls will be purchased

Fees
Membership this season is £35 and includes insurance & registrations for all vets run sides if required
Matches will remain at £8
Midweek football remains at £5
