Do you have a daughter aged between 7-11 who wants to get into football? Then sign up to the Montpelier Villa Youth Wildcats training every Saturday morning from 10-11am.

FOOTBALL

Villa Men

As well as our first team being in the Southern Combination League Division, we also have a reserve side in the Mid Sussex League Division one. A number of players are given their chance in the first team if they impress in the twos, and as the level of football is of a relatively high standard, it also provides an opportunity for first teamers getting back to fitness as well as those looking to impress the management.

Villa Women

The women’s side was formed back in July 2016. From a weekly kick around in Stanmer Park to a 25 + strong squad today, the team have gone from strength to strength. Competing in the Sussex Women’s League (step 7 of the women’s pyramid), they have consistently finished in the top half of the league as well as reaching the latter stages of cup competitions.

Villa Youth

We have several teams in our youth section, both in our Premier, Development and Community sections of the Montpelier Villa Football Academy. Training starts at u6 and the youth section goes up to u16, when players enter the u17/18/19/23s set ups.

We are always on the lookout for new teams and coaches to join our club, so if you’re interested in joining the Villa football revolution, get in touch!

Villa Vets

We have two veterans sides at Villa, one playing in the Mid-Sussex Vets league Division 1 and another in Division 2. The qualifying age to play vets football is 37 years of age. The vets teams train twice a week, on a Wednesday and Thursday at Falmer Sports Complex.

If you’ve lost a lung, or can’t track back against that 20 year old anymore, then listen to your body and drop us a line! We’re always looking for like-minded and twinkled toed oldsters to join us.

Villa Wildcats

The Montpelier Villa FA accredited Wildcats Centre provides fun football sessions for girls of all abilities aged between 7-11. The sessions take place on the new 3G at Falmer Sports Complex on Saturday mornings with our qualified women coaches. Wildcats is a fun environment where girls can express themselves without judgement, enjoy their football and, if they want to progress to Montpelier Villa girls football teams they can, or they can just carry on enjoying these sessions.

Goalkeeping

We have teamed up with specialist goalkeeping coach, David Baker, from Goalkeeping School who runs Montpelier Villa training sessions for all age groups every Wednesday evening at Falmer Sports Complex. David is a UEFA B coach and also works with Whitehawk FC’s first team. David can also provide one-to-one sessions for keepers’ on request.
